I’m glad you are here. Let’s talk Medicare. I am a phone call or email away.  If you are new to Medicare and need help, fill out my contact form below.Turning 65?
 Initial Enrollment Period (IEP):
Starts 3 months before the month you turn 65
  • Includes your birthday month
  • Ends 3 months after
  • Total window: 7 months

Example:If your birthday is in October, your enrollment window is:July 1 – January 31Why this matters:

Enrolling late can lead to lifetime penalties-IF you don't have a large group health plan from employers.
Coverage can be delayed if you miss your window

Good to know:If you’re already receiving Social Security, you’re usually automatically enrolled in Parts A and B. Still working and over 65? There are special enrollment periods each year and certain individuals do not need to enroll in Medicare-this can get confusing and costly! Ready to leave your group health plan? Thinking about quitting/retiring soon? Let's talk!Watch for These Common Mistakes

Missing your enrollment window
Assuming Medicare is automatic
